Dynamic stability evaluation of subsea wellhead based on fully coupled model

The subsea wellhead is a key equipment for offshore oil and gas development. Traditional research focuses on static stability of system in which the dynamic effect neglected. In this paper, drilling platform/riser/wellhead/conductor fully coupled model established to evaluate system. An algorithm solving proposed based finite element method Newmark integral method. A analysis program also developed MATLAB conduct evaluation algorithm. Simulation results show that maximum response obviously larger than response. That is, likely be unstable with loads. depth displacement bending moment induced by loads reaches 32 m 45 under mudline, respectively. value appears an inflection point at certain mud line. vibrates opposite direction before after point.
